Howe Keld
The Howe Keld apartments are fantastically located less than half a mile from the shore of Derwent Water, overlooking Hope Park with the Lakeland fells of Borrowdale and Newlands in the distance.
The apartments are a short walk from Booths supermarket and all the cafes, pubs and shops that Keswick has to offer. Internally, they are fitted out to a very high standard using Herdwick wool carpets, soft furnishings made from wool from a Yorkshire mill, modern kitchens and bathrooms and local photography and artwork.
The Howe Keld Renovation
Until recently Howe Keld was a successful guest house. When the previous owners decided to move on, we thought the building offered huge potential for self-catering holiday apartments given its fantastic location and views.
The apartments offer the best of both worlds in the Lake District – close to all the amenities you might need to enjoy your holiday but also peaceful enough to enjoy tranquil views. Whilst seeking to create lovely spaces for you to enjoy a holiday we also wanted to reuse items from the guest house and complement this with local materials where possible.
